Take an objective viewpoint, as if you’ve never come into contact with the charity before. What are your first impressions? What comes across in the marketing? How far is this from the truth? Most charities have a range of diverse audiences to communicate with, from boards to frontline staff to users and donors. Each group has its own needs and priorities.
